Making Artificial Intelligence (AI) Relevant to your Business Operations

AI is one of the most hyped, yet truly valuable technologies available to enterprises today in the journey to the OneOffice and future-proofing their businesses. The expected spread of influence and speed to market for a relatively nascent set of AI technologies is astounding. Our latest research reveals that enterprises anticipate AI technologies such as Machine Learning (ML) will permeate and influence the majority of business operations, with over half expecting this impact in the next two years!

We find consensus in AI becoming critical to future success. However, people tend to discuss AI as if it is a monolith or single category, when in fact AI is a collection of many specialized technologies. Moreover, there is a lack of understanding of what is needed beyond the rhetoric when it comes to execution of AI-related initiatives. The speed and intensity with which enterprises are developing capabilities do not match the importance they place upon AI. The talent gap is acute and data maturity to harness AI technologies is abysmal.

Enterprises will need to chart out investments to build multi-dimensional organizational capabilities across technology, data, talent, methodology, and culture to make AI relevant to your business operations. The industry will also need to pursue an integrated approach towards all emerging technologies across the Triple-A Trifecta (Automation, AI, and Analytics) and beyond to drive the desired outcomes. There is no silver bullet.

So for this upcoming leadership roundtable, we are keen to expand the conversation around AI beyond the hype. We’ll discuss the why, what and how of AI in the context of creating real business impact:

What is AI? The building blocks of AI, the emergence of integrated automation across the Triple-A Trifecta (Automation, AI, and Analytics), and use-cases of effective AI in business operations

Why bother about AI? The power of AI for enterprises, the promise of OneOffice and Hyper-Connected Enterprise, the desired end state and the current state of adoption

How to leverage AI? The critical adoption challenges and the AI execution guide to chart out the multi-dimensional capabilities that enterprises will need to develop to institutionalize AI
