Group Chief Restructuring Officer, Rolls-Royce
Declan Guerin is the Group Chief Restructuring Officer of Rolls-Royce. He was appointed the role in January 2018, having been the CFO of Marine since joining Rolls-Royce in May 2015. He is an executive level business leader with over 25 years of experience across capital goods and B2B services in sectors that are related or exposed to international trade, and extensive financial, commercial, strategy and M&A experience from large organizations including Cargotec, Caterpillar, Chevron, DHL Deutsche Post and EMI.
Declan’s leadershoip roles have covered CFO/financial controllership, business and strategy development, and corporate finance. In addition, his roles have come with significant hands-on operational and restructuring experience.
Declan has a track record of delivering change in multiple world-class organizations and a demonstrated adaptability to work effectively in different cultural environments right up to Board level. He operates on a global scale: he has dual Irish and Belgian nationality, he’s been exposed to the Asian markets, and he’s worked in the UK, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
