Simon Jenkins

Simon is an Advisor to large Banks (both in Retail and Corporate), to Insurance businesses,
to Challenger Banks, to Automotive Captives and mentors a number of FinTechs. He
engages with his clients to help them Digitally transform, helps them innovative faster to
MVP (with better ROI) and helps FInTechs understand and connect with FIs and advises
them on scaling-up.

Simon’s experience includes: Co-owner of a successful Start-up Product Innovation
business, Director in KPMG’s Advisory business (leading a unit in Digital Banking,
Innovation and FinTech). Simon was the Digital Strategy Director for Lloyds Banking Group
working in Retail and Insurance where he defined and led the Group’s Digital Strategy and
Innovation inclusion; and prior to that was with Accenture.

In Accenture he made Equity Partner in 2000; Simon worked in the Customer and
Distribution space in a number of blue-chip firms and was a solution strategist, value
architect and implementer in all aspects of Customer, Distribution, Digital, and Innovation.
Simon has deep experience in defining, communicating and leading digital, innovation and
FinTech strategies and delivery execution.

Most of Simon’s experience is in Banking and Insurance, where he has worked for over
twenty years and has worked for a number of leading Banks and Insurance businesses both
in the business and in IT.

Simon has an extensive network across the globe with start-ups, innovators, entrepreneurs
and network providers that truly offers speed and value to large corporates. Simon has
written articles in the Times, the Financial Times and The Banker. He has chaired and
presented his insights at conferences across Europe. He also mentors a number of UK
FinTech startups.

Simon’s home is in Chester, Cheshire but he commutes weekly to London.
